Shaw Theatres Waterway Point opened on 21 January 2016 with 10 screens, including an IMAX theatre, right to the doorsteps of residents in the North-East of Singapore.
This is the fourth location that has opened over the last six years and all of them are situated in suburban districts – i.e. Shaw Theatres Seletar in Sengkang West (December 2014), Shaw Theatres JCube in Jurong East (April 2012), and Shaw Theatres nex in Serangoon Central (December 2010).
It features the latest in cinema technologies like IMAX, Dolby 7.1 Surround and RealD 3D systems.
The new multiplex is the latest in a string of significant developments for Shaw Theatres.
Waterway Point is strategically located minutes from the Punggol MRT Station and Punggol bus interchange.
Waterway Point is a commercial mall made up of 4 levels inclusive of 2 basements. Movie-goers will be able to shop, dine and entertain in round-the-clock F&B outlets.
