IT Senior Executive
Shaw Organisation is looking for an IT Senior Executive to be part of a dynamic team handling a multi-phase project that impacts and improves the movie-going experience. The talent will report directly to the Vice President (innovation.content.engagement).

Responsibilities:

  1. The IT Senior Executive is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to users. The ITSE will be expected to work with different departments (operations, marketing, finance…) and handle various admin matters needed.
  2. Strong understanding and experience in software, systems, design and development are needed.
  3. In situations that require a hybrid agile approach, using good judgment and skills to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints.
  4. Usage of Kanban or similar tools for implementation of Agile/Scrum hybrid approach

Requirements:
  1. Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience with substantial project work in software design/ development and web technologies
  3. Preferably Senior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
  4. Hands on experience in Agile/SCRUM Methodology will be a plus
  5. Strong technical experience in system/applications architecture design
  6. Project Planning and Management – Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
  7. Team Management – Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work, and mentoring and developing team members
  8. Process Management and Improvement – Assist to define and manage a project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile/Scrum Project Management

Support Engineer

Job scope & responsibilities:

  1. To provide 1st level of production support including, but not limited to, preventive maintenance, monitoring, problem identification, root cause analysis, case escalation and timely resolution of issues/problems, so as to prevent future recurrence of similar incidents.
  2. To support and work with other functional teams (i.e. 2nd and 3rd levels of support such as Infrastructure team, Application team, etc.) to resolve complex issues relating to infrastructure, hardware, software and business application systems.
  3. To be highly responsive and provide technical support via emails, conference calls, online messaging platforms, as well as on-site at designated remote locations (where required).
  4. To monitor support tickets and SLAs of cases, while keeping the stakeholders informed of the case progress and closures.
  5. To document problems and corresponding solutions, and record them in the Knowledge Base (KB) repository upon closures of cases.
  6. To assist in testing regimes (e.g. SIT and UAT) if required.
  7. To assist in preparing and updating documentations e.g. technical specifications, test plans, user manuals, configuration records, change logs, etc. to ensure proper management of records.
  8. To perform other related duties as required to support users and business.
